January 12, 2024 - CAA Leadership Changes

CINCINNATI, OH (January 12th, 2024) – The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CAA) announces the following organizational changes in the company:

Ebony Griggs-Griffin as our new Chief Human Resources Officer & Erik Thomas as our Vice President of Community Services.

Ebony joined CAA in 2018 as part of Head Start, where she held increasingly responsible positions of leadership, most recently as Director of Grantee Services. In 2021, she took the next step in her career to become the Vice President of Community Services, where she led the development of processes, systems, and people to support our community members affected by the Covid pandemic.

“Through each of these roles, Ebony has gained a deep understanding of CAA’s programs and the needs of our community members and has exhibited exemplary leadership. This, along with her passion for developing people and building an engaged, diverse, and inclusive workforce, make her an excellent choice as leader of our employee-focused initiatives and operations.”- Mark B. Lawson President & CEO of CAA.

Erik joined CAA in 2017 as a Program Coordinator, and quickly demonstrated his leadership capabilities. He was promoted to Career and Job Services Manager in 2019 and became Vice President of Career Pathways in 2022.

“Erik’s strong operational skills, strength as a people leader, and experience developing programs and serving our community members have prepared him to step successfully into this new leadership role.”- Mark B. Lawson President & CEO of CAA.
