The Involved Males & Fathers Program is part of CAA's Fatherhood Initiative and is designed to provide interactive activities for fathers, uncles, grandfathers or other men who are active in the life of Head Start children. Involved Males & Fathers is a sponsored program through the Head Start Parent Policy Council.
What does the Involved Males & Fathers Program do?
The program focuses first on involving men in the Head Start program with the understanding that children need both positive females and males in their lives. Involved Males & Fathers gives involved men the support necessary to become a stronger advocate. As males develop a stronger understanding of their role in the child’s life , they are able to promote healthy development in their child's self esteem and learning capabilities.
