How to Help

The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency has long been known as one of the area’s most effective organizations, quietly serving the needs of the area’s low-income children and families. Now, CAA has completed two major construction projects in keeping with its long-range vision of providing outstanding service delivery in a safe, energy-efficient, one-stop environment for clients, employees and the public. These historic capital investments are strategically located in two Cincinnati neighborhoods.

  • The Theodore M. Berry Children and Family Head Start Learning Center in the West End (Completed 2003)

  • The Complex at Jordan Crossing, CAA’s administrative and program headquarters in renovated retail space at Reading and Langdon Farm Roads in Bond Hill (Completed 2005)

While public funding will cover most of the $26 million required to complete these projects, CAA –for the first time- is seeking $5 million from private sources in a major capital fundraising campaign.

To oversee this campaign, CAA established the Foundation, a separate 501(c)3 corporation with its own governing board and staff.
