CINCINNATI MANUFACTURING CERTIFICATES

The Cincinnati Manufacturing Certificates (CMC) program is a training course available at no cost to individuals seeking to sharpen their skills and obtain production technician certifications sought after by nine different manufacturing sub-industries.  Over the course of 4.5 weeks (140 hours), participants are put through rigorous training and testing to assure their readiness for hire.

Trainees will gain 4 National Production Certifications in:

  • Quality
  • Safety
  • Production Processes
  • Maintenance Awareness

CMC uses the national training and certification curriculum developed by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC).  MSSC Production Technician Certifications are nationally recognized and can help individuals get promotions, higher pay, and job security.  The certifications demonstrate to employers that the applicant is pre-qualified to meet the performance expectations of a production technician.

Upon successful completion of the program, CMC staff will match graduates with companies hiring manufacturing technicians for job interviews.  Trainees are provided with a stipend over the course of the training and resources for transportation.
