CAA Receives MAC Award for Workforce Development

February 1, 2016 - The Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CAA) Workforce Development department has been awarded the MSSC Authorized Center (MAC) Award. The MAC award is given to schools and centers around the country that are leaders in assessing individuals for MSSC industry-recognized nationally portable certifications and providing exemplary service in creating a better workforce pipeline for their students. CAA was the first organization in Hamilton County to provide MSSC training classes, beginning in 2009 and has continued to provide this training each year. To date CAA has carried out 17 of the 140-hour MSSC classes, has provided over 1000 MSSC assessments, and over 200 graduates have achieved the status of Certified Production Technician (CPT).
