GCMI PROVIDED SUPPORT TO TRENDY PEDAL WAGON

GCMI's Business Coach Michael Leahr is quoted in a June 3rd Enquirer article about a trendy new business entering its second year of operation in downtown hot spots like Over-the-Rhine and the Banks. It'sPedal Wagon, a sort of interactive horse-and-carriage ride that can be reserved for pub crawls, birthday parties or progressive dinnersCo-founders Jack Heekin and Tom O’Brian launched the business with GCMI's assistance. It has four 15-seat pedal-powered wagons operating in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and expanded service to Columbus earlier this year. It had between 3,500-4,000 passengers last year and expects to serve a much larger audience this year. Pedal Wagon's success reflects the economic opportunities entrepreneurs are seeking to capitalize on as more development and attractions land in Greater Cincinnati.
