First Year TFA Teachers Give & Get High Grades


 May marked the end of the inaugural year of Teach for America (TFA) in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.TFA teachers wrapped up their final lessons and their schools are wrapping up assessments of how the year went. So far, everyone gives the program high marks. All the schools are keeping their teachers another year and many are hiring additional TFA teachers. Teach for America will look at testing data this summer to officially analyze the first year's results. They expect the verdict around July 1, but TFA teachers say they already know that their students progressed by what they’ve seen in the classroom.
