Cincinnati City Council recognized CAA’s Blueprint for Success program for its remarkable success winning a national award for the Greater Cincinnati Home Builders Association (HBA).
Council presented a resolution on May 15, 2013 to Ms. Robinson and to HBA Executive Director Dan Dressman. Also on hand for the presentation were three Blueprint students and Mike Hoffmaster of Maronda Homes.
The HBA has been recognized as having the “Best Community Service Project Conducted” for its Blueprint for Success Program with an Award of Excellence from the Executive Officers Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The partnership pairs young adults engaged in construction careers training with HOMERAMA and CiTiRAMA builders as apprentices. Last year, Blueprint students assisted builders in all aspects of the home construction process from foundation to closing. The HBA also provided guest class instructors, as well as job skills and preparation training.
“We are pleased to have been recognized by City Council, proud of Blueprint for its success and thrilled to be in partnership with the Home Builders Association,” said Ms.Robinson. The Blueprint program is now seen as a national model.
